OK I found this wicked wee mum who makes some gorgeous costumes so save her here so I can reference the way she references her costume making process IE adapting here, taking from there, etc...

Lucy Mcrae how do you make these works! Im making skin type suits at the moment and then I see mc raes work and Im baffled to wondering how her costumes look so high tech almost like sports wear thats inpractical but has the fitted look about it. can check her awsome work out here.

Muscle replicer suit.

Neil in suit. Still hadnt yet added hands.
Kylie in suit, trying here to get the light to shine through fabric to pic up detail in face.
Neil in suit, he has a nice prominent masculin nose for this, Also I origanally envisaged this suit on a male.
The feet, though the little pointy bits make it look costumy or comical.
The back of hood is gathered. Front of hood seems too plain and may also need gathering.

Then I created a head piece and feet and hand coverings.

Christine tryed it with objects coming off the garment aswell.

Then made the top for the pants.



Then I presented to the group my photos and this covered wall corner atmosphere to look like the body was coming out from the images, tho took images out of the scene and the atmosphere worked just aswell the body connection would be make as a viewer would come into the space.

Used a 2nd hand fleshy coloured slip to quickly visualise the look the costumes would have, if wer pearced and internal looking organs and objects flowed out from it.

Looking at trying to make material openings that revolt the insides to the outside.

Then some more experiementation playing with object, then trying to make a skin like surface so as to make a suit out of.

Ok so more progressing onward took photos of big intestines thing on my body and had this image from my desk space, a collage of images taken of the process of wrapping myself in the intestines object.

So forgot about this we page of crap I can fill with thoughts so thought Id add some of my latest works. one day Il get them all in order. Im looking at the insides coming out as being what we dont reveal and thats literially and socially unaccepted in the world. Or well at leats in the two towns I,v lived in, Rotorua and Dunedin.
