yay

wowi wow wow The loop vidio is now on the net yay. Thanks to Davids instructioons and Alidas guidence and attention to detail I worked out my mistakes and now well a its hea on the net and has sound. and yes I found the sound piece in and audacity folder then transfered that to x drive then reimported it to premier and then re edited it to loop aswell as vidio image looping. yay

soundd....

So the following weeks we have added sound which i changed my mind on a few times until I found the perfect song for this task called "What goes around" By Justin Errr Timberlake but yea thought it made it funny. Unfortunatly this file was taken from a cd that didnt either have enough info on it for computer to hold a full copy or may have been because I didnt edit it in audition before exporting to premier. Apparently you can not transfer a cd file ie song straight to pro premier.
Also Had a go and humming alond to the imagery but that sounded too surreal like a wee voice in your head... actually now I think about it it could ahve worked... I might go see if Iv styill got it... Currrently Im waiting on my friend bringing a copy of the J.T song to me.

week 4 response to collaboration

A brief discussion on collaborative work experience ... ok as far as I got with collaborating was I asked some of the guys if I could be in there group, hmm they thought I was joking so was shafted there ouch! so collaboratively withmyself I felt I worked well though still struggling with my hardcam disk camera one day I hope to suss it out.

supposedly week two

week two we were putting our vidios to the computer. Me I wanted to try use my harddisk camera as thats what I recorded my procrastinating piece onto. However these computers dont like those cameras they file the movies into odd formats so i need to find a converting program to put the movies from my cam into the right format. So then I emailed JVC cameras and am waiting on responses or suggestions as to how to get around that. So then from their I played the vidio of procrasting on computer and rerecorded it with anather camera and then I was able to capture it ti propremier yay!!!

Just a note it does seem odd that wee are still using tape cameras as I get the impression that within 5 years theyl be obsolite, filming tapes in camera shops etc are already becoming scarce and theres only like one brand or so left to choose from. huh i dunno.

Stoyboard take two.

ok so that recording was going to take up to much space so narrowed down my procrastination recording to a simple event within it where my flat mate gives me a cup of coffee.
-So after recording me procrastinating
-next search through and record to computer possible loop bits.
-Could use cup of coffee giving as loop thing by recieving it then reverse that recieving.
- Also would be neat to still include some part of the laxin around procrastinating stuff so mayb could overlay into piece, mayb give idea that in between drinkn coffee I attempted to do work and coffee made my world spinn.
-Then repeat this, recieving of the cup then giving it back.
-Then if I go to sequence I can copy the whole sequence and reapeat as much as what ever.

story board: As I was away for first two sessions of this class most groups had already begun their recording so I decided to do mine by myself.
1st I will go out and set up a camera in my room.
Just filming me procrastinating over writting my reveiw.
2. I plan on trying to speed up long length of time of procrastinating.
3. Then repeat it or loop it.
